Last Friday, Hubby and I had a nice island-style date – dinner at Chamorro Grill, this little joint in Mission Gorge. I was so inspired by the Chamorro local eats that I made my attempt to cook red rice this weekend and according to my Hubby, it was goooooood!
After dinner we enjoyed live island reggae from Rebel Souljahz, EKOLU, and Katchafire at Soundwave (formerly Cane’s Bar & Grill). It was a sold out show – over 700 people attended! I even bumped into an old high school friend which was nice. We had a great night. Here’s my favorite song by Katchafire – “Who You With”. And with this concert, I cross another thing off my list! :)
